PVC Internship Program
Our internship program is designed to identify, equip, and release ministry leaders of the future.
Do you feel a calling on your heart to enter full-time ministry? Are you currently attending college and want some insight into what it is like to experience working at a large multi-site church? Are you ready to take your level of commitment to serving the Church to the next level? If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, then the PVC Internship program may be your next step!
As an intern at PVC, you will experience the way ministry happens at a large multi-site church. This experience, combined with the relationships developed with experienced ministry leaders, will prepare you for your future in ministry.

What does an internship at PVC look like?
Learn
During the first phase of your internship you will learn about ministry in general. This includes being equipped in the vision of Palm Valley Church and living out your ministry’s mission by spending time serving as a volunteer.
Team
The second phase of your internship will focus on working in a team environment and learning how a strong team is the most effective way to accomplish ministry. During this phase, you will be given opportunities to grow in your leadership skills under the guidance of a strong mentor.
Lead
The third phase of your internship will provide the opportunity for you to lead a team, program, or event within the area of your internship. In this phase, you will be responsible for sharing the vision, equipping others, and leading people both physically and spiritually.
Other activities: All interns will be included in staff-wide team meetings, cross ministry break-out sessions with key leaders, and internship-wide weekly meetings designed for fellowship and team-building.

What are the expectations of an intern?
Palm Valley Church internships are unpaid semester based commitments (up to 12-months), between 15-25 hours per week (30-40 hours during peak times). They run from August 1st through July 31st.
Ideal candidates will be currently enrolled in a college or university, preferably in their Junior or Senior year, and have a deep desire to enter into ministry as a career.
Requirements: Interns should be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma, and available to serve during all weekend services. Interns are expected to maintain a Christ-like lifestyle at all times. Failure to do so can result in immediate removal from the Internship Program.
