Daniel and his friends Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were forced to live in a culture very different than their own. Their value system, religious beliefs, and customs were not just different…they were contradictory. These men held their convictions and not just survived this experience, they thrived in it. They were contributors to the kingdom and became well-respected members of the community. How were they able to accomplish this? These young men spent more time focusing on what they were FOR, versus what they were against.
