A Breath of Peace
From Series: "A Breath Of Fresh Air"
2020 has been a year of social unrest, racial injustice, political rhetoric, and division across our communities. As we navigate in the Pandemic’s shadow, our patience has been stretched from behind masks and plexiglass, away from the activities that energize us the most. This year it is easier than ever to feel stifled, restricted, isolated, and stuck in a repetitive loop with little hope for a positive change. It’s time for a change in our perspective. We need a revitalization and a fresh approach that brings hope back to our daily lives. It’s time for a breath of fresh air. Jesus spent a lot of time with people who needed a breath of fresh air in their lives. He breathed freedom into a man that was caught in a dead-end job. He breathed hope into a man who was stuck and forgotten. He breathed peace and healing to a woman who was chronically ill and discouraged. He breathed joy into someone isolated and separated. He breathed restoration into people who were tired and worn out. When people encounter Jesus, their lives are changed for the better. He always provides a new way to live, a fresh start, and a new perspective. During the next few weeks, we will be sharing how Jesus provided the fresh air of freedom, hope, peace, joy, and restoration.
